Company Admin Quick Start Guide
Edit in CMSWelcome! As a Company Admin, you have the highest level of access across your organization. You’ll manage multiple organizations and monitor performance across dashboards.
Here’s how to get started:
Getting in the first time. When you’re added to a team, Letterhead emails you — from [email protected] — with the subject “You were added to the [team name] team on Letterhead.” Open it and click Log in to Letterhead. The first time, that button takes you to a page to set your password; once it’s set, you’re signed straight in. After that, sign in anytime at your Letterhead URL with your email and password.
Make sure to add ‘[email protected]’ to your contacts, so your invitation and login emails don’t get filtered.

What You Can Access:
Section titled “What You Can Access:”- Company Dashboard: Cross-organization performance — audience growth, opens, clicks, and bounces rolled up from every channel under your company.
- All Channels: Drop in on any channel across any organization without switching workspaces.
- Agents: Configure and manage AI agents at the company level.
- Audience: View and manage subscribers across every channel in every organization.
- Groups: Create and manage channel groups for shared content, audience policies, and reporting.
- Newsletters: Full access to create, automate, and curate across every channel.
- Templates: Create and edit company-wide templates that any channel can use.
- Curations: Add articles via RSS Feeds, Browser Extension, or API — at company scale.
- Automations: Set up recurring sends across organizations.
- Promotions: Launch promotions that run across multiple channels and organizations.
- System Monitor: Watch automation and delivery health across the entire company.
- Reports: Custom reports rolled up across every organization and channel.
- Teams: Invite team members, assign roles, and control what everyone can access — from a single company-wide Settings → Team Members page, or per organization from each org’s own Settings → Teams.
- Settings: ESP integrations, sending domains, webhooks, API keys, MCP connections, Pages, and company-wide branding.
- All Organization, Channel, and Content Contributor level tools.
Note: Company Admins have all the permissions of Organization Admins, Channel Admins, and Content Contributors — plus exclusive access to company-wide settings, integrations, and cross-organization dashboards. Company-level team members are invited from Settings → Team Members, with a broader role set than the classic three: Administrator or Content Contributor, plus a separate Account Admin Access toggle. Team invites made from an individual organization’s own Settings → Teams still use the classic three roles — Organization Admin, Channel Admin, or Content Contributor — scoped to that organization’s channels.
✅ Permissions Hierarchy:
- Company Admin (full platform access)
↳ includes Org Admin
↳ includes Channel Admin
↳ includes Content Contributor
What You Can’t Access:
Section titled “What You Can’t Access:”- You have full access across the platform.
Get Started:
Section titled “Get Started:”- Open your Company Dashboard to see how every channel under your company is performing in one view.
- Configure Settings → Integrations so every organization can send through your chosen ESP (Letterhead, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.). The ESP API key lives here — if it’s invalid or expired, scheduling will fail for every channel until it’s fixed.
- Review and configure Sending Domains in Settings to make sure email authentication is set up for every domain your channels send from.
- Add or update team members from Settings → Team Members — invite people company-wide and assign them Administrator or Content Contributor, plus Account Admin Access where needed. To scope someone to a single organization instead, use that organization’s own Organizations → [organization name] → Settings → Teams, with the classic three roles (Organization Admin, Channel Admin, or Content Contributor).
- Generate insights in Reports — Company Admin reports can be scoped to any subset of organizations or channels, so this is where you’ll spot trends that aren’t visible inside any single org.
- Open System Monitor to confirm automations and scheduled sends across every channel are running cleanly.
- In Company Newsletters > Templates, create or edit a template and assign it to the appropriate organizations and channels
