Managing Your Channel Settings

Edit in CMS

To view or update your channel’s settings, click Settings in the left-hand navigation. Settings is organized into four sections: General, Sending emails, Integrations, and Pages.

Manage your channel’s branding, contact details, and social profiles.

  • Description — a short summary of your channel’s purpose, shown on your newsletter archive page.
  • Logo — upload a square image, with an Alt text field for accessibility.
  • Timezone — controls when your newsletters send. Double-check it matches your audience’s local time; Eastern Time is the default.
  • Link to Website and Link to Newsletter — public links for your archive and signup pages.
  • Personal Information — contact name, email, and mailing address (all required). The street address appears in your newsletter footer as required by CAN-SPAM law. If you don’t want to share your address, a P.O. Box or commercial mail-receiving service works.
  • Social Media — set profile links for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, X (Twitter), Threads, and Bluesky. These feed the Social Profile block in newsletter templates when Use Channel Social Links is enabled.

Click Save to apply changes. If Save is greyed out, a required field is missing or invalid.

  • Sending Domain — set up and verify a custom domain to protect deliverability. See custom sending domain setup.
  • Sender Name, Sender Email, Reply Email — what subscribers see in their inbox, and where replies go. Manual replies (including out-of-office messages) go to the reply email; some server-triggered auto-replies may go to the sender email.
  • Audience Policies — enforced at the organization level. Double Opt-in protects your sending reputation and prevents spam complaints; contact an organization administrator to change it. See also List Optimization and Recipient Validation.
  • Look and feel — default Body and Paragraph Font, Heading Font, and Font / Background / Accent colors for your newsletters. Not all email clients support custom fonts, so they may not render for every subscriber.
  • Advanced (Early Access) — set fallback fonts for body and headings, toggle Newsletter Visibility to activate your public archive page, and upload an Archive Banner. Your archive must be on for subscribers to get proper confirmation messages when signing up, whether you use Letterhead’s forms, the API, or Zapier.
  • Evvnt — an integrated events platform for event discovery in your market. Contact your account manager to enable it.
  • Embed Subscription Form — copy a snippet to embed a signup form on your website. New signups go through email verification, then receive your welcome letter.

More integrations (ESPs, Stripe, Zapier) are managed at the company level — see Working in Integrations.

Manage this newsletter’s signup page and embedded form from one place, with previews. See Manage all your signup pages and subscribe forms.
