Manage verified senders and choose who sends each newsletter

Edit in CMS

Your account maintains one company-wide roster of verified senders. Each sender has a From address, display name, and reply address, plus the newsletters it’s available for.

To add a new sender, go to your company’s Settings > Senders and use the form to specify the sender’s details. As you fill in the form, Letterhead shows which of your sending domains are verified and available for each newsletter.

Each newsletter has a default sender setting. Open the newsletter’s Settings, go to Sending emails, and choose which verified sender it should use by default.

When you schedule an edition, the Sending settings section of the scheduling step has a Sending Email picker. Choose a different sender there to use it for that send only, or leave it on Use the channel’s default sender to keep the newsletter’s default.

If your email provider manages your sending addresses itself, the picker is called Sender Name instead: choosing a sender changes only the name your readers see, and the edition keeps sending from the address your newsletter is connected with. Senders on a domain the newsletter isn’t verified to send from can’t be chosen.

The verified senders list supports search and filtering, so you can quickly find the sender you need when your roster grows.
