Using the 2-Column Promotion Block

The 2-column Promotion block is a layout option that displays two promotions side by side in a single row instead of stacked. Use it when you want multiple promotions in one section while keeping the layout compact and visually balanced.

It’s still a single promotion block with one zone — turning on 2 columns doesn’t create two independently-assignable slots. Whatever promotions are scheduled into that block’s zone for the newsletter’s send date populate automatically and simply render two-per-row instead of one-per-row.

Add a 2-column Promotion block

  1. Open the newsletter draft where you want the promotions.
  2. Add a Promotion block to your layout and assign it a zone, just like a standard promotion block.
  3. Change the block’s layout to 2 columns — the scheduled promotions for that zone will display two-per-row instead of stacked.
