Understanding the Audience, Engagement, and Delivery Organization Dashboards

Learn how to navigate and use Letterhead’s new analytics dashboards to gain actionable insights into your newsletter performance

Audience Dashboard

Monitor how your subscriber base is growing and changing. This dashboard helps you understand audience churn, retention, and acquisition over time.

  • Metrics include:

    • Total Subscribers – Your current total audience size

    • New Subscribers – Number of signups during the selected time range

    • Unsubscribes – Total users who opted out

    • Growth Trends – Net change over time

Note: If no channels are selected, the data reflects engagement across all channels during the selected timeframe.


Delivery Dashboard

Check the health and reliability of your email sending. Use this dashboard to catch issues that may impact inbox placement or reputation.

Metrics include:

  • Total Sent – Emails attempted

  • Accepted – Emails accepted by recipient mail servers

  • Spam Complaint Rate – % of emails marked as spam

  • Bounce Rate – % of emails that could not be delivered

  • Delivered – Emails successfully delivered to inboxes

Note: If no channels are selected, the data reflects engagement across all channels during the selected timeframe.


Engagement Dashboard

Get a clear view of how your audience is engaging with your newsletters. Use this dashboard to track open and click performance across channels and editions, and identify trends over time.

Metrics include:

  • Open Rate – Percentage of delivered emails that were opened

  • Click-to-Open Rate – Percentage of unique clicks to unique opens

  • Unique Clicks – Number of individual recipients who clicked at least once
  • Clicks – Total number of clicks across all recipients

  • Clickthrough Rate – Percentage of delivered emails that received a click 

  • Unique Confirmed Opens – Opens tracked using stronger confirmation signals

  • Top Pixel Renders – Emails where the top tracking pixel loaded

  • Bottom Pixel Renders – Emails where the bottom tracking pixel loaded

  • Prefetched Top Pixel Renders – Top pixel loaded in a preview (e.g., email client preloading)

  • Prefetched Bottom Pixel Renders – Bottom pixel loaded in a preview

View All Sent Newsletters
At the bottom of the Engagement Dashboard, you’ll find a table called "All Letters", showing every newsletter sent within your selected time frame. This table includes delivery metrics like opens, clicks, delivery status, and more, and can be exported as a CSV for reporting or deeper analysis.


Filters and Export Options

All dashboards include:

  • Date range filter: Choose custom or preset timeframes

  • Channel filter: Analyze specific newsletter editions

  • CSV export: Download the Letters table for further analysis

  • Who can access the dashboards?
    Only Organization Admins have access.
