Personalize image links with feed data
Edit in CMSWhen your newsletter uses a connected data feed, you can personalize not just images themselves but also where those images link. Every recipient can see a different image β and be sent to a different URL β based on their feed data.
This extends image personalization with Iterable data feeds β the same expression mechanism, now controlling both the visual and the destination.
Set a personalized image link
Section titled βSet a personalized image linkβ- Add an image to your newsletter that draws on a connected data feed.
- Select the image to open its settings.
- In the link field, enter a feed expression instead of a static URL.
- At send time, the expression is evaluated per recipient to generate their personalized link.
Example use cases
Section titled βExample use casesβ- Product recommendations β each reader sees a different product image and is linked to items matching their preferences.
- Regional content β each reader sees location-specific imagery linking to their local page.
- Account-specific dashboards β a personalized graphic linking to each recipientβs own account or profile page.
For personalizing the image itself, see Personalize images with Iterable data feeds. Note this uses audience data feeds β different from the RSS content feeds that fill your Curations library.
