View performance metrics for transactional emails
Edit in CMSYou can track the performance of your transactional emails — receipts, password resets, and other automated messages — all in one place.
Viewing transactional email metrics
Section titled “Viewing transactional email metrics”For each type of transactional email you send, you can see:
- Sends — total number of emails sent
- Open rate — percentage of recipients who opened the email
- Click rate — percentage of recipients who clicked links in the email
- Bounce rate — percentage of emails that failed to deliver
- Spam rate — percentage of emails marked as spam
- Last sent — when this email type was most recently sent
Filtering your data
Section titled “Filtering your data”Use the search and date filtering options to focus on specific transactional email types or time periods.
This helps you identify delivery issues, measure engagement with automated messages, and ensure your transactional emails are reaching your audience effectively.
Prefer to just ask?
Section titled “Prefer to just ask?”You can also ask Letterhead’s AI assistant how your transactional emails are performing, and get the same metrics grouped by tag for any date range.
- Connect an AI client such as Claude Desktop to Letterhead’s MCP server.
- Ask in plain language, for example:
- “How are my transactional emails doing this month?”
- “Show me password reset email performance for the last week”
- “How did receipts perform in June?”
The assistant returns send counts, open rates, click rates, bounce rates, and spam rates, grouped by tag. Mention a specific time period in your question to get metrics for a custom date range.
