Letterhead + Zapier
Edit in CMSZapier lets you connect Letterhead to thousands of other apps without writing code. Use it to automate audience management and content curation.
Connect your Letterhead account to Zapier
Section titled “Connect your Letterhead account to Zapier”- In Zapier, create a new Zap and search for Letterhead.
- When prompted, authenticate with a company-level API key. This connects Zapier to your entire company audience, not just a single newsletter. This may need to be enabled for your account — contact support. See Generate & manage API keys.
- Choose an action (below).
Generating API keys is an admin task — if you don’t see the option, ask an organization administrator.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”Add or update contacts
Section titled “Add or update contacts”Keep your Letterhead audience in sync with another system — a CRM, a form tool, a spreadsheet.
- Set the other app as the trigger (e.g. “new form submission”).
- Add the Letterhead — Add or Update Contact action and map the email and any other fields.
Manage tags
Section titled “Manage tags”Add or remove a tag on a contact from any Zap — useful for marking signup sources or triggering automations that react to tags.
Add articles to your Curations library
Section titled “Add articles to your Curations library”Pipe links from another source into Curations for newsletter use: trigger on the source (e.g. a new item in a feed) and add the Letterhead curation action, mapping the URL.
Existing channel-level Zaps
Section titled “Existing channel-level Zaps”Existing Zaps built with older channel-specific Letterhead actions keep working without changes; new Zaps should use the company-level actions.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- New subscribers added via Zapier only receive proper signup confirmation if your channel’s public archive is active — see Managing Your Channel Settings.
- You can also trigger welcome letters via Zapier.
