AI Agents overview

Letterhead AI agents assist you with newsletter work by automating content checks, drafting emails, and analyzing performance. Each agent runs on-demand or on a schedule and surfaces “judgments”—findings and suggestions for you to review.

The Letterhead assistant is a different thing from the agents on this page: it’s the conversational assistant that carries out Letterhead tasks for you, and it’s in every account — open it with the speech-bubble button in the top bar, from any page. See Edit your newsletter in conversation with the assistant. The limited-release note at the top of this page applies to the agents described below, not to the assistant.

Core agents

Letterhead includes three core agents:

1. Email Content Check — A pre-send validation agent that flags issues like broken links, missing alt text, and other content problems before you send.
2. Assemble — Drafts a newsletter from items in your Curations library, matching your channel’s voice.
3. Analyze — Reviews your content and performance data to surface insights and recommendations.

Access agents

1. Navigate to Agents (company-level dashboard).
2. View all available agents and their status.
3. Select an agent to run it on-demand or manage its schedule.

How agents work

Agents surface their output as “judgments”—suggestions and findings. After running an agent, review the judgments in the Agent Feed or, while you’re editing a newsletter, in the composer’s Preflight Agent panel. The findings are read-only — there are no accept or dismiss controls; use them to guide your work.
