How to Update the Character Limit on a Promotion Type

Each promotion type has a character limit on its content. You can adjust that limit per template at the Organization level, so your promotion types fit the copy length your advertisers actually need.

Update the limit

Section titled “Update the limit”
  1. At the Organization level, open Promotions and select Templates.
  2. Find the template you want to change and edit it.
  3. Update the content character count field to the limit you want.
  4. Click Update.

New promotions created from that template will use the new limit.
