The Automations Errors Table helps you quickly identify when an automation fails and why. Instead of guessing what went wrong, you can filter your automations by Error status and review details directly in the table.
Where to find it
-
From your Company Dashboard, go to Newsletters → Automations.
-
Use the Status dropdown to filter by Error.
-
The table will show all automations that have encountered issues.
If there are no errors, you’ll see an empty state message: “There is nothing here, yet.”
What you’ll see in the table
Each automation with an error will appear in a row, alongside important details:
-
Channel – The channel where the automation belongs.
-
Title – The name of the automation.
-
Type – Whether the automation is recurring or one-time.
-
Frequency – How often the automation is set to run.
-
Segment Name – The subscriber group targeted by the automation.
-
Latest Send – The last time the automation successfully sent.
-
Next Send – When the automation is scheduled to run next.
-
Status – Displays as Error if the automation failed to run.
-
Active toggle – Lets you pause or resume the automation.
How to troubleshoot
-
Switch the Status filter to Error.
-
Review the affected automation(s) in the table.
-
Check the automation setup (segment, frequency, draft, or template) to confirm nothing is missing or misconfigured.
-
If you’re unable to resolve the issue, contact Letterhead Support with the automation title and error details so we can investigate further.
Why this matters
The Errors Table gives you visibility into problems that may prevent your automation from running on time. By monitoring this section regularly, you can fix issues early and make sure your newsletters continue sending as expected.
