Pick recent editions for Brand Voice from a dropdown

When you set up a channel’s Brand Voice, one way to teach it your tone is to base it on a handful of your own recent newsletter editions. Picking which editions to use now works through a proper dropdown, replacing the older control that showed every edition in an always-open, scrollable list.

Where to find it

1. Open your Brand Kit’s editor and go to the Brand Voice tab.
2. Under Generate based on, choose Recent editions.
3. Click the editions field — it opens a small panel listing your channel’s recent editions, each with a checkbox next to it.
4. Check as many editions as you’d like to include, then click outside the panel (or click the field again) to close it. The field itself shows a short summary, like “3 editions selected,” so you can always see your current choice without the list staying open.

If your channel doesn’t have any recent editions to choose from yet, the panel says so instead of showing an empty list.

What’s different

The change is to the control itself, not to what it does. You can still select as many editions as you want, and generating your Brand Voice from them works exactly as before — the dropdown just matches the collapsible style used by the other pickers in the Brand Kit editor, so it’s easier to tell you can choose more than one, and it takes up far less space while you’re not using it.
