How does Letterhead automatically delete old curations?
Edit in CMSAutomatic deletion keeps your Curations library fresh without manual cleanup: each content source can clear out its old items on a schedule you choose β set it and forget it.
By default, curations are deleted after 30 days. You can pick a different schedule per source based on your content refresh needs.
Set the deletion schedule for a source
Section titled βSet the deletion schedule for a sourceβ- Open Curations and go to the RSS Feeds tab.
- For an existing source β select it, scroll to Automatically delete old curations in the side panel, choose the number of days from the dropdown, and click Update feed.
- For a new source β click Add Feed, set the same option while configuring the feed, and click Add feed.
Picking a schedule
Section titled βPicking a scheduleβ- Short (1β7 days) for fast-paced, news-based sources, so your library only shows current stories.
- Longer (14β30 days) for evergreen content that stays useful over time.
If you delete too aggressively and need old items back, remember a feed reset re-curates everything currently in the feed.
