Manage your promotions with the AI assistant
Edit in CMSLetterhead’s assistant can help you manage the promotions (ads) already running in your account — no digging through menus. Just ask in plain language and it works with your real promotion data. You can reach the assistant two ways, and it does the same job either way:
- In the app — the assistant panel built into Letterhead.
- From a connected AI client — an external tool like Claude Desktop, connected over MCP.
Open the assistant
Section titled “Open the assistant”In the app: select the speech-bubble button in the top bar. The assistant slides out as a side panel. Type your request in the message box and send.
From a connected AI client: connect an AI client to Letterhead’s MCP server, then ask in plain language from that client — no need to open Letterhead at all.
What you can ask it to do
Section titled “What you can ask it to do”- See your promotions — list everything with its status (active or paused), whether it’s evergreen/recurring or scheduled, which channels it runs on, and its scheduled dates.
- Look up one promotion — pull up a single promotion’s headline, body copy, click-through link, placement, schedule, and channels.
- Edit a promotion — change its headline, body text, click-through link, or internal campaign title.
- Reschedule — set the specific dates a promotion should run.
- Pause or reactivate — stop a promotion from running, then turn it back on later.
- Unschedule a recurring promotion — take an evergreen/recurring promotion off its ongoing schedule.
- Delete a promotion — remove one entirely.
Example prompts
Section titled “Example prompts”- “What promotions do I have running right now?”
- “Pause the summer sale promotion.”
- “Reschedule the membership ad to run on August 3 and August 10.”
- “Change the headline on the sponsor promotion to ‘Meet our new partner’.”
- “Stop the house ad from recurring.”
- “Delete the spring event promotion.”
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Creating a new promotion isn’t something the assistant does — set those up on the Promotions page. The assistant works with promotions that already exist.
- It only acts when you ask. The assistant won’t edit, reschedule, pause, or delete a promotion unless you explicitly tell it to.
- The in-app panel knows the page you’re on, so you can say “this promotion” while viewing one. A connected AI client has no notion of “the page you’re on” — name or describe the promotion instead.
- It speaks in plain language — you’ll see names, statuses, and dates, never internal IDs or codes.
- Prefer a human? From the in-app panel, you can switch to Customer Support to reach the team.
