How to Adjust Mobile Font Size and Padding in Letterhead

This article explains how to customize mobile-specific font size and padding in Letterhead so your newsletters are easier to read and better spaced on phones and tablets.

Step 1: Open Your Newsletter

  1. Log in to your Letterhead account

  2. Open the newsletter you want to edit

  3. Click on the block you want to adjust (text, layout, or content block)

Step 2: Open Mobile Style Settings

  1. In the right-hand settings panel, scroll to the Styles section

  2. Expand Text to view Mobile Font Size

  3. Expand Block to view Mobile Padding

Step 3: Adjust Mobile Font Size

  1. Locate the Mobile Font Size setting in the Text tab

  2. Increase or decrease the value to improve readability on mobile

  3. Changes apply only to mobile devices

Use this setting if:

  • Text appears too small on phones

  • Headings feel oversized on mobile screens

Step 4: Adjust Mobile Padding

  1. Find the Mobile Padding controls in the Block tab

  2. Set padding values for:

    • Top

    • Bottom

    • Left

    • Right

  3. Review spacing as you make changes

Padding helps prevent text from feeling cramped and improves overall layout on smaller screens.

Step 5: Preview Your Changes on Mobile

  1. Switch to Mobile Preview in the editor

  2. Review spacing, alignment, and readability

  3. Make adjustments as needed before sending
