What happened to the Evvnt block?

The Evvnt block used to pull local events — with dates, venues, prices and ticket links — straight into a newsletter. It has been retired, and it no longer appears in the composer.

Why it’s gone

Our partnership with Evvnt came to an end, so the block could no longer bring in events. Rather than leave a block in place that quietly came up empty, we’ve taken it out.

What this means for you

• You won’t find it in the composer. Evvnt is no longer offered when you add a block to a newsletter or template.
• Newsletters you’ve already sent are untouched. Anything already sitting in a reader’s inbox stays exactly as it went out.
• A draft or template that still contains an Evvnt block will send without it. The block simply doesn’t appear for your readers, so it’s worth opening any template that used one and putting something else in its place.
• There’s nothing left to connect. The field that held your Evvnt Portal ID has been removed from your channel settings.

Are events coming back?

We’re exploring a new way to integrate with Evvnt. We can’t promise a date, and it may well work differently from the old block when it arrives.
