How do I personalize my newsletters to my audience members?

Learn how to use the information you have gathered from your audience in your newsletter.

Letterhead allows you to add user information to your newsletters, making them more personal for each subscriber. In order to include this information, you need to include ' {{ ' before, and '  }}' after the field's key.  For example, Hi {{ firstName }}, seen below, will show your subscriber's first name.

Also, the {{ key }} syntax includes an option to fill in with a default value, in the event that the value of the key is empty. For example, you can use the {{ firstName or 'Subscriber' }} tag to add the subscriber's first name to the newsletter. If the subscriber's first name is not available, the tag will insert the word 'Subscriber' instead.
