This article will guide you through the steps necessary to customize a curated article from a website using our Chrome Extension.
If you have not installed our Chrome extension. Please refer to this page for more information or download it here.
Once you have successfully downloaded and installed the extension, please follow the steps below:
- Go to a website with an article you intend to add to your newsletter.
- Click the Letterhead Extension from the extensions section of your Chrome browser, and sign in.
- and from the drop down select the channel where you want to curate the article.
- Click Save page to curations.
- Once you click save, the extension will load the fields you can update prior to saving.
- You'll be able to update the Title, Excerpt (blurb of the article), Image and add Tags (you may need to scroll down to see the Tags field).
- You can choose an existing tag or create a new one.
- You'll be able to update the Title, Excerpt (blurb of the article), Image and add Tags (you may need to scroll down to see the Tags field).
- Once you have filled out all of the information, click the Save curations button.
- Once the articles saves, a confirmation message will appear saying you have successfully saved the page to curations.
- You can find the article you have curated in the Letterhead application by select ing Newsletters from the left panel menu, and then selecting Curations on the upper right of the Newsletters screen.
- The article you saved from the Letterhead extension will be visible in the Curations library.
- If you would like to update the Title or Excerpt, you can do so by clicking on the article, and the Update an article fly out will appear.
- On this page you can update the Title, Site name (source), Original url, Excerpt and add Tags.
- Once done, click Submit.
