What is happening?
On 1/31/2023, from 10:00 pm to 11:59 pm EST, our product team will be moving our Beta server (the upgraded newsletter-building experience) to the main production application (app.tryletterhead.com).
Starting 02/01/2023 (Feb 1st) at 12:01 am, users will log in to Letterhead via app.tryletterhead.com
Users who still need to migrate will log-in to classic.app.tryletterhead.com for the old newsletter builder.
The newsletter builder has graduated the beta stage and is ready for prime time. Moving to the central application server ensures any future Beta releases are consistent with your day-to-day operations.
Users must migrate to the new builder as newsletters are not backward compatible. Opening up older newsletters or working from older templates will result in errors. Your data is preserved, but you can no longer work from those editions moving forward. Data corrupted by jumping between servers (URL domains) can not be recovered.
What does this mean for you?
For most users who have been migrated, nothing changes other than we are asking you to return to logging into Letterhead via app.tryletterhead.com.
For users who still need to move to the new newsletter builder, you will no longer be able to build your newsletter in App.Tryletterhead.com.
You will instead need to log in at the domain: classic.app.tryletterhead.com.
We will be hosting the original newsletter builder for a limited time as we migrate over the remaining users.
If you still need to set up a migration call with our support team, please do so or speak with your account manager about plans to have this happen.
How do I know if I've been moved over already?
- You've met with our team, and we've already prepared your newsletter templates for this change.
- You are currently logging into Letterhead via beta.app.tryletterhead.com
- Your newsletter-building screen looks like this:
Will this migration affect my scheduled newsletters or promotions?
No. As long as you are not creating or modifying your newsletters or promotions during this technical migration window, you will have no issues with your previously scheduled newsletters or promotions.
